2. What is GeoMaxim?
Our goal with GeoMaxim is to provide a secure software tool to satisfy the organizational needs of Internet users. A great deal of web sites, bulletin boards, and other miscellaneous entities now require registrations that involve a user id, password, email account, etc. GeoMaxim allows one copy of the software to categorize and track all users' accounts and passwords, securely. It even allows one to click on a customizable link address and automatically launch your preferred browser and take you right to the web page. GeoMaxim is Internet savvy.
All one needs to start taking advantage of GeoMaxim is to execute the GeoMaxim application, create some accounts, and go surf!
3. What makes GeoMaxim different from a bookmark list?
GeoMaxim not only tracks the name and URL associated with a site, but allows you to save your user name and the associated password for the account. You also have access to a miscellaneous field which can save other comments about this site. To keep your information from prying eyes, GeoMaxim allows you to password protect all your information in a specific category. You can add categories for each member in the family with complete disregard as to privacy! You may even have some categories protected and some not. GeoMaxim implements 32 bit encryption so hackers will not be likely to decipher your account information (which is saved in your preferences folder - so don't fret about making copies). As one can easily see, GeoMaxim is much more glorified than a browsers' bookmark list (and a lot more fun to use).

5. GeoMaxim License Agreement
This is a legal agreement between you and SQUEEM software covering your use of GeoMaxim. Be sure to read the following agreement before using the software. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE THE SOFTWARE AND DESTROY ALL COPIES OF IT. This copyright software is distributed as shareware.
You may use this software for ten days without any charge and may distribute it freely to others. The software is owned by SQUEEM software and is protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the software like any other copyrighted material (e.g., a book or musical recording).
Commercial distribution of the software is restricted without permission of SQUEEM. We are more than happy to allow you to distribute our software, but you must first have a license to do so, unless explicitly notified otherwise by SQUEEM Software. Contact SQUEEM for details on obtaining a license. You may not rent or lease the software, nor may you modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, de-compile, or disassemble the software. If you violate any part of this agreement, your right to use this software terminates automatically and you then destroy all copies of this software in your possession.
The software and related documentation are provided "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind and SQUEEM expressly disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances shall SQUEEM Software be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the software or related documentation, even if SQUEEM Software has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of this Agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the Agreement shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. The software and documentation are provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013. 6. Categories
GeoMaxim organizes everything into categories. Think of these as folders which contain the information you wish to save.
GeoMaxim automatically creates a default category and account for you after starting the program. You can easily add more categories by clicking the "New" button or choosing "Add Category" under the Portfolio menu. If you wish to change the name of the Category or change it's security properties click the "Edit" button or choose "Edit Category" from the Portfolio Menu. You may delete a category by clicking the "Delete" button or choosing "Delete Category" from the Portfolio Menu.
7. Accounts
You will notice the top half of the GeoMaxim window is for viewing purposes. To edit, add, or delete accounts in a category you must click on the Disclosure Triangle control in the bottom left of the GeoMaxim window; the window will expand. Click the control again to reduce the size of the GeoMaxim window.
After revealing the edit fields, you may alter any of the text you desire. To add another account to this category click the "Insert" button or choose "Insert Account" from the Portfolio menu. Remove accounts by clicking the 'Remove" button or by choosing "Remove Account" from the Portfolio menu.
8. Locking/Unlocking Categories
This feature is useful if you wish to keep information from prying eyes. To lock a category upon creation, simply click the "Password Protected" checkbox on the Category Creation dialog. You may also click the "Edit" button or choose "Edit Category" from the Portfolio menu to add (or remove) this capability to a category.
While viewing account names in a locked category is permitted - no other information is displayed. Editing items in a locked category is not permitted and is printing is disallowed.
You may easily lock/unlock a category by using the Lock/Unlock Button to the left of the category name. This option is available under the Portfolio menu also.
9. Generating Passwords
GeoMaxim will create an alpha-numeric (both upper and lower case) password for you. When editing your account, simply click the "Gen. Password" button or choose "Generate Password" from the Portfolio menu. GeoMaxim will automatically insert a new randomly generated password for you. You may specify the characteristics of password generation by choosing "Preferences" under the Edit menu.
10. Printing
By choosing "Print" from underneath the File menu, a neatly organized and spaced out listing of all accounts in the current category will be printed.
11. Registration
SQUEEM contracts much of it’s registration processing through a popular third-party company called KAGI. Kagi offers many methods of registering any of our shareware products with minimal effort on your part.
A. ONLINE (Easiest)
You can register GeoMaxim online via a secured online transaction with KAGI. Historically, SQUEEM is notified within 24 hours and the customer is notified within two days (usually within 24 more hours). This is by far the easiest method and costs you no more than any other method. To register visit our web site or click on the link in the registration dialog in GeoMaxim.
B. EMAIL (Still pretty easy!)
Simply run the enclosed Register application, mark a check by GeoMaxim and the type of license you wish to order. Licenses are below
C. Snail Mail (Old Faithful)
You may still register directly with us, by sending a check or money order in the amount of $10.00 along with the enclosed registration form to:

You will typically have your registration package back in the mail in about 10 "postal" days, less if you request us to reply via email.
12. Types of Software Licenses
A. Individual
This license allows one user to register one copy at any given time.
B. Site
This license allows a company/person to use an unlimited number amount of copies within a 100 mile radius of a determined point.
C. Worldwide
This license allows a company/person to use an unlimited number amount of copies on the planet Earth. Fill out the personal information, then copy the information and paste it into the body of an EMAIL message to KAGI. They bill you appropriately, and immediately notify us via EMAIL that you have registered. Within two business days we should have emailed you your registration information. If you have not been contacted by us in this time period, please let us know.
